It's recommended that after your piano is moved that you have it tuned to tighten any pins that may have come loose during the move.  This causes strings to lose tension and go a little out of tune.  You don't need to have had your piano moved by us to contact us for a piano tune-up!  While most of our Atlanta Piano Tuning clients are those whose pianos we've had the honor of moving in the past, we are here to serve all of the pianos of Atlanta!

Has it been a while since your piano was tuned?  Many of our clients remark on the improved clarity and quality of sound that their piano produces after a tune up. In many cases, as pianos slowly go out of tune it's hard to tell when it's gone slightly off-key.  Maybe you have a new piano?  New Pianos should be tuned a minimum of two times the first year of service while the strings and pins "settle in".  Pianos that are played frequently such as concert pianos or pianos used for lessons can also benefit from tuning every 6 months.  It's recommended that the standard home piano be tuned once a year.
